Creator Spotlight: Ash Magic
Ash Hodgkinson, professionally known as Ash Magic, is an Australian magician, actor, author, and creator. He developed an interest in magic at the age of 11 after witnessing a street magician's performance in Sydney's Pitt Street Mall. Inspired, he began busking in the same location, honing his craft and captivating passersby with his high-energy street magic.

In 2014, Ash launched his YouTube channel, which now has some 3.6 million subscribers, sharing magic trick tutorials and performances.
However, it was his entry into TikTok in 2019 that significantly boosted his popularity. His engaging and interactive magic videos resonated with a global audience, amassing him over 9 million followers on the platform.
Many of Ash’s videos feature him doing street magic such as guessing someone’s name or first kiss.

Beyond social media, Ash has ventured into acting, appearing in Australian television series such as "RFDS" and "Heartbreak High" in 2022. He also featured in Google’s most recent Gen Z TikTok campaign.
Ash is also the author of the book "Real Magic," published in 2021, offering readers insights into performing their own illusions and shares his journey as a magician.
In 2023, Ash starred as Lennox in "Metaverse of Magic," a theatrical production that combined magic, illusions, and technology, touring across Australia.
He is represented by talent agency IMG.
