Facebook lets creators monetise stories content

Facebook is now giving creators worldwide the ability to earn money from views on public stories.

The option is available to creators in the Facebook Content Monetisation program and has no threshold required. Payouts are based on content performance.

What they said: In a Facebook video creator, Rick Wiggins, aka ketosnackz, said: "This is huge because it means you can earn money from content you are already creating and sharing if you post it to your Facebook stories. Personally, I found this an easy way to make some money off doing things I usually with no intention of monetising."

Wiggins is a popular on Instagram with his keto focused recipes and more than 3.4m followers on the platform.
